"Gurup" was a group of people who met every Tuesday from 2013 to 2016 to discuss a particular issue for each week. The number of people in Gurup increased and decreased with time. Everyone in Gurup was sharing their ways of thinking and creating interdisciplinary studies. There was a period of radio broadcasting. The heads shown in the illustration are not presenting all the members, but it illustrates the crowd in a specific period.

It is based on the default Turkish rhyme for kids, the lyrics are very strange though. My intention is to portray my childhood memories of street playings that end up with the sounds of the ezan each summer evening. I hope you will enjoy and remember your own sweet memories.

GECE YAYAN YOLCULARI (2014-2021)

The story is about "the man on the moon" and "gece yayan yolcuları”(*) who are gathering and transporting earthy stuff to the man on the moon so that the man keeps staying on the moon.
* is a Turkish phrase that can be translated as "the nightwalkers". But it doesn't have the same meaning. let me explain more: "yayan" means a thing that spreads something. the passenger who spreads the night. passengers who walk at night.
